Black Friday Blog Train - Stop #20

Hi all! Welcome to Melbourne, Australia!

Hopefully the blog train is working well and you should have arrived here via Sya's blog.

If you're visiting me from the US today, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and are enjoying the Black Friday sales! Be sure to go and snag 40% off most of the digi-goodies at the ScrapMatters shop today!

One of my favourite Christmas Traditions is to make a pavlova for dessert! I have been making one every year since I was a young teenager. From a very young age, I used to always help my grandmother make the traditional plum (Christmas) pudding, but now that she is beyond cooking, the dessert is left up to me :) I really love pavlova and it is something we only have once a year, so I look forward to it! I always do strawberries and cream on top! YUM! Here's a pic of my one from last year...
Now, where are the freebies I hear you ask? Well I have some cute little hybrid candle decorations (or napkin holders!) for you to create. They were made with the great new holiday kit called "comfort & joy". It is a ScrapMatters design team collaboration and is available to you for FREE over this holiday weekend with purchases over $10 in the shop! Woohoo :)

... and here's how they turned out! Cute huh? They can be stretched or shrunk to suit your candle or napkin size. You can even personalise them with some names if you want!
I didn't mention it on the preview but the .png's ARE included.

Now the train is departing! Please move on to Denise's blog for your next bit of FREE holiday goodness!

Oh, and if you missed the start of the blog train, you can head back to Andrea's blog and start from the beginning!

Happy Holidays!

Kate! How do you get your pav so high? I only like the crunchy bits of pavlova (my Mum makes one every xmas), but I've never seen a homemade one so high! Looks gorgeous!
